Throughout his career, Dermot has demonstrated expertise in business development by holding senior leadership positions across a wide range of business models, from global enterprises to start-ups such as Nutmeg, a leading digital wealth management platform. He has also held numerous consultancy, board adviser and NED roles and is a published author on leadership.

James has over 30 years of experience in real estate development and consultancy for multinational groups in Asia, North America, Continental Europe and the UK. Furthermore, he has invested in and guided businesses in private aviation, real estate investment, and renewable energy. Graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, after which he served in The Royal Green Jackets (now Rifles). He co-founded PFP to facilitate and encourage a quantum shift in utilising waste as a green renewable energy source.

Simon, a University of Warwick alumnus, has 30+ years’ experience providing clients across all sectors of the economy with energy reduction/management solutions and electricity/ gas procurement advice. Simon is utilising his vast experience and connections in the energy sector to advise PFP’s clients on the cost savings and impacts of utilising waste as a power source. Additionally, he runs the PFP introducer network, consisting of industry heavyweights tasked with identifying potential projects.

Alice holds a Master of Science in Engineering for International Development from the University College London, complemented with a Bachelors in Environmental Engineering. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has been involved in international development projects, focusing on designing off-grid solutions to benefit communities in the developing world.

Tim is an economist with specialised skills in data, analytics, and strategy. He applies his understanding of economic principles to analyse data and develop effective strategies for PFP’s clients. A University of Bristol graduate, Tim boasts an accolade from The Chartered Banker Institute’s essay competition, where his piece on how finance professionals can help achieve society’s goals on climate change was published alongside distinguished academics, business leaders, and politicians.

Paul is an experienced Information Security Leader with expertise in FinTech and cryptocurrency. With 19 years of experience in the UK and US, he has directed the infrastructure for a leading Security Certificate Authority. Passionate about renewable energy and carbon-negative initiatives, he holds degrees from the universities of Leeds and Liverpool, making a valuable asset to our team.

Linda brings a unique blend of strategy, science, technology and management expertise gained across various sectors including FMCG, IT, engineering, nuclear, environmental and renewables. Capable of offering both strategic and operational insight, Linda has worked in a variety of different roles and environments around the world for large corporates, research organisations, SME’s, spinoffs and start-ups (social enterprise) and is passionate about using this experience to help people to mitigate climate change.

Alexandre, a UK-based independent climate and energy transition finance professional offers expert advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including corporates, asset owners and managers, government entities, and foundations. His background spans project and corporate acquisitions, risk assessments, investments, and financings in the energy, infrastructure, and maritime sectors, working with leading investment banks, foundations, and advisory firms. Alexandre holds degrees from prestigious institutions, including Sciences Po, Harvard, and INSEAD. His passion for addressing climate change and sustainable development make him a vital contributor to the ongoing global transition to a more sustainable future.

Jayne Walters

Jayne is a lawyer with extensive legal experience having been a partner in a major City law firm and General Counsel for property investment, development and financing businesses. Jayne oversees PFP’s compliance with the business’s legal requirements and advises on the contracts required for individual projects. Jayne holds a degree from The University of Cambridge.

Gabrielle Durisch

Gabrielle serves as the Global Head of ESG and Sustainability Solutions at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS). With over 15 years of experience in the insurance and automotive industries, as well as 6+ years at KPMG and Deloitte, Gabrielle has honed her skills in various functions including M&A. As a graduate of Edinburgh University and the ICAEW, she brings a unique perspective to her role. At Allianz, Gabrielle takes a holistic approach to sustainability, addressing the complex issues that define modern sustainability standards. Her strategic focus extends beyond climate, as she works to support customer sustainability goals, underwrite actions, and develop innovative products and services. In addition, Gabrielle leads global ESG training and education initiatives, ensuring that portfolio management aligns with carbon intensity, ESG, and other sustainability criteria.
